David is the founder of Karelse Recruitment. He is a graduate of the Amsterdam School of Finance. He started his career as a corporate management trainee for one of the leading European financial institutes where he led high profile projects in several different European countries. In 2007 he started in the recruitment sector in the Netherlands after having lived and worked in the United States for a number of years.

David is specialized in supporting national and international NGOs in recruiting high quality professionals. From the start of the process to the hiring of the candidate David is committed to achieving the best possible result. “In the recruitment processes that I have supported I am always gratified to  see the right candidate step into the right position. When professionalism and passion come together in a position, amazing things will happen!”

David has been on the board of directors of 2 US-based NGOs and currently serves on the board of Help a Child USA. He is passionate about partnering with organizations that seek to help the most vulnerable.

David is married to Tami. They have 5 children and live in the eastern part of the Netherlands.
